How I am doing as at 19 April 2008
For those of you who are wondering how I’ve been since I know I’ve been MIA since school started, here’s the dirt:
I’ve been doing extremely well for Print Media: Editing Design so far, and way below my expectations for English: Past, Present and Future II.
I’m surprised. English is usually my better subject; last year I did so much better for my English than my Communications subject.
I think firstly, it depends on how you interpret the TMA (tutor marked assisgnment) question, and secondly, it really depends on your tutor. If you get a good tutor, good. A strict one, and that’s it for you. Understand that appealing for your grades may not help coz firstly, you need to submit an appeal letter (time consuming!) which goes first to your tutor, and if you’re still not satisfied, then it goes to SIM. Secondly, your grades may not be changed at all. Worse if you get a lower grade. \ Oh wells.
Of course, for me it really helps coming from an English speaking background and already having had the foundation in communications back in poly.
Also other than that, I’m extremely tired. Usually after work when you guys would be going home to relax or going out to enjoy, I will be using the time to go to school to study. Haha, also whether I study or not is another thing, but the mentality is there, and its tiring. Lol.
Oh, and guess what? I’m having an exam the day after my birthday. Oh wells. Too old to celebrate birthdays already.
Yeah, and I’ll be coming up with Tips on Surviving Part Time Studying at SIM soon! Lol
