08 05 2006

Finally, today, I was so happy!
May 8 2006 - Me turn 24. TWENTY FOUR! Is that old or what. Nevermind I am still a young adult. Early twenties. Bwahahaha!
I dreaded today. Last night went to sleep wishing I had taken leave today. I did not because I did not want to bum around at home by myself. Took leave tomorow instead so I can stay out late tonight and wake up late tomorow bwahahaha. Yeah... I'm a wierd person.
Today morning as usual I could not get out of bed despite my handphone alarm ringing a million times.. and my mom calling me... finally she said I had to get up coz Philip (my 4 years 7mth old nephew) was on the phone!!! I put the phone to my ear and he was like... "tita marie" (in his cute little voice... tita is Tagalog for auntie)... "happy birthday" and then he started singing happy birthday to me... and another time in Chinese to me. Then my little niece, Patricia, 2 years and 10 months old took her turn.... Philip was like "I want you to come over... but I have school..." I was like "sure I'll come when you don't have school" and he was like "but today is your birthday... save for me the birthday (cake)"... haha... and I was like "give me a kiss" and he was like "how" and I said you can make the sound, so he did... what a wonderful way to wake up today. I hadn't seen them since January when I went over last Sat. Thought they had forgotten me but they hadn't...they were so excited to see me and the love of these kids is simply amazing. Not forgetting little Paulyne who's 1 year 9 months.
This year's birthday was a reminder for me that there are so many people who care enough for me that even though they don't show it in a way that perhaps I want them to other times, they showed it on my birthday. I had round the clock wishes for my birthday and it was amazing... unlike other years when I had in towards the end of the day or even not at all... this year majority was in the morning and it kept coming throughout the day I felt loved.... so wonderful.

That's such a unique pressie I never received before!!!!
And later on at night - Sizzler - with my best friend Seb and my darling mom... You're the truest friend and bestest friend I could ever have... and you're the bestest mommy... I know you love me so much....

Oh, and I'm just getting fatter year by year you can see it on my photos....Although Seb, you put it in a very nice way... I'm 'wholesome'! Yeah! Bwahahah!
Actually everyone has been making my day... I wanna say a huge thank you especially to Kemmy, Francis, Jock, Annette, Dennis. For the yummy choc cake and Famous Amos cookies and a great time at Wala Wala earlier on the 6th. Thank you Francis for keeping on calling me to come! You always do that. Thank you Kemmy for being such a sweetheart and remembering and planning.
Diana, you've always been such a sweetheart... Jesus has blessed me with the wonderful gift of you.
And those who signed my birthday card... especially Fr Damian... and for calling me and wishing me a day earlier with no mention of work at all! Hahahah... it's so nice to be appreciated...
I think all in all.... Jesus has shown me His love in the wonderful people around me....-haha, I should not isolate myself and I am definitely not alone- and that was my birthday wish... when I blew out the candles today.... for His love and love for all of you....
I can survive. Yeah! Love love love. Amen.
The journey continues....
