Another lesson learnt..

At today’s event I learnt something yet again about people. Some people, despite not knowing much, will at least pretend or show that they are knowledgeable and have authority even when they are not in such a position. Today I noticed someone trying to make others do things for them, to do something that was a waste of time and does not make sense, and I saw someone else who was more garang and firm in their answer and this person had no say thereafter. That is how one should deal with this kind of people. Show that you are no pushover. This same person also tried to make use of another’s person hard earned resources just because they did not bother to source their own. However when this person was informed that the resources belonged to someone else who had that ‘don’t mess with me attitude’ this person backed away. Interesting. Each and every single event or experience in my life, I always learn something new and something that would make me a better person. Thank you God. Always learn the good qualities from others and pick up their good habits and stay away from the bad. Don’t even waste time with people who are probably wasting your own and whom would just bring you down either in mood, spirits, character, etc. Yeah, a great lesson I’ve learnt in life, a lesson which helped me become the person I am today and a lesson which helps me survive in life.

Aside from this, no, I did not get to see MM Lee Kuan Yew up and close! Haiz.. I managed to see him from a distance of like 10 metres estimated when he was coming out from his car, and the picture that I managed to take of him from that distance was blurry. Oh wells. But it was nice to say that you’re helping out in an event where MM Lee was gracing :D
